COUNTY COMPETITIONS 2024/25.  Presentations on Sunday 6th April 2025 at Sandy Lane Oxford.

CLUB SINGLES COMPETITION 2025/26

The last 8 playing on Thursday 2nd April 2026 concluded with Lynn Orlando and Dave Watts playing in the final match.

Congratulations to all 8 that played this evening, and congratulations to Lynn and Dave for reaching the final. 

However, Lynn took the trophy as the winner on the night, by one shot.

The 2025/26 Club Singles Competition was won by Lynn Orlando.

Dave Watts being the other finalist.

The 2024/25 Club Singles Competition was won by Lynn Orlando.

Steve Gray being the other finalist.

The 2023/24 Club Singles Competition was won by Dave Watts.

Howard Southwood being the other Finalist.

The 2022/23 Club Singles Competition was won by Howard Southwood.

COUNTY GAMES 2019

CONGRATULATIONS to Santo, Lynn, Roger, Phil, Tina and Dave for winning the Oxfordshire Teams Competition for 2019 against 9 other teams.

This was played at Oxford & District Bowls Association's venue in Sandy Lane West, Oxford on Sunday 10th March 2019.

NATIONAL GAMES

The Inaugural Ladies British Isles Short Mat Bowls Championships  were attended by our Lynn Orlando on 7th & 8th October 2023.

The team event included England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales and was eventually won by Ireland with England coming in second.

Alongside this event were individual discipline championships (still representing their countries), and Lynn skipped the England Ladies Fours team to victory coming 1st overall.

WELL DONE LYNN, we are proud of you.

 The 2018 England Ladies Short Mat Team played Belgium in the 

final in Europe in the early part of the year, and WON.

In case you hadn't noticed our very own Lynn Orlando representing

England, I have shown this clearer photo of her.
