Tuesday 2nd September 2025 will see a MacMillan Coffee afternoon from 2pm until 5pm at Didcot Bowls Club for Tea, Coffee and Cake.
A great charitable event helping to raise money for a good cause.

The Club's Open Days to the public took place over the weekend of Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th May 2025.
As in all previous years, this is a free event, taking place from 10:00am until 3:00pm.

Flat soled shoes/trainers must be worn on the green.

Worth mentioning is a Hotshots event that took place at Didcot Bowls Club on 23rd July 2024.
A Hotshot is when all team members playing on one rink (Pairs, Triples or Fours) score maximum shots on one end. During a Kennet League match on Tuesday 23rd July 2024, one of the Fours scored the maximum of 8 shots with their bowls. This is rarely seen during a season and is worth mentioning here and on the Bowls International website.
Congratulations to Bill, Richard, Peter and Steve on this achievement.

Memorial Trophy & Barbeque. Sun 26th Aug 2023.
8 teams of Triples/Fours played three games each to find an eventual winner of the Memorial Trophy.
One minute's silence at the beginning of the afternoon and two hours chattering at the end of the day (along with the bowling of course in between) gave everyone an appetite to savour the delicious barbequed food cooked onsite.Â
